Import Mail

This extension is able to import mails or attachments into SeedDMS. It provides a new task class for checking mails on a imap server and a page for listing all mails currently in the mail boxes configured by the tasks. The extension is compatible with version >=5.1.18 and >=6.0.11. If used with 5.1.x it will have a somewhat limited functionality.

The idea behind this extension is to send documents to a central mail box and have SeedDMS import them straight from there without having to save them on your local disc before. There are various scenarios which can be based on it.

• a scanner which sends all its scanned document to an email address
• external suppliers who send their invoices by email
• any other group of people you have asked to send in addtional information, forms that had to be filled out, etc.

The extension is also cabable of importing the whole mail іn eml format.

If used with SeedDMS 6 the import can be done by none admin users.
